- Introduction:
This instrument is designed and made as per Standard Test Method for Theoretical Maximum Specific Gravity of Bituminous Mixtures(Vacuum process)
It is suitable to determine the theoretical maximum specific gravity of bituminous mixtures by vacuum process.
- Application Range:
The instrument is suitable to determine the theoretical maximum relative density of asphalt mixture by vacuum method, and is used to calculate porosity and compaction for asphalt mixture ratio design, road condition investigation or road construction quality management.
Application EXCLUDES determine of asphalt mixtures with porous aggregates with water absorption rate more than 3%.
Referring to standard of T0711-2011, ASTM D2041, and JTG E20-2011.
